Using personal pronouns and descriptive adjectives.
Pronouns are small words we use instead of names. They make our sentences shorter and easier!
Instead of: "Maria likes Maria's dog."
We say: "Maria likes her dog." or "She likes her dog."

Choose the right pronoun: "Tom is my friend. ____ plays with ____ every day."
"Tom is my friend. He plays with me every day."
Why?
- "He" - Tom does the action (playing), so subject pronoun
- "me" - I receive the action (being played with), so object pronoun
Replace the underlined words with a pronoun:
MARIA is my sister.
I gave the book to TOM.
THE CHILDREN are playing.
